Collectibles and Craft Faire

Trinity has an annual Collectible and Craft Faire, where local vendors bring their hand-made products like jewelry, candles, paintings and such as well as antiques and collectible items to sell. The purpose of the Faire is to keep iconic Trinity Church, which opened its doors at its present location in 1873, in good repair and a viable part of this community. All profits raised will go toward the maintenance and restoration of this beautiful piece of Nevada City history.

Trinity Collectible and Craft Faire 2016

About fifteen vendors will include Lu La Roe Clothing, vintage and unique items from “Junk in the Trunk,” custom-make jewelry by Wild with Wire as well as many more antiques, re-purposed teapot lamps, jewelry, soap, hand-painted icons, watercolors, and many one-of-a-kind items. There will even be a book signing by local author R.L. Cherry. Trinity Church itself will have a table of donated collectibles and unusual items for sale and 100% of those sales will go toward the reconstruction of the church’s courtyard. Delicious pies, savory or sweet, will be available from An Honest Pie, with free lemonade to go with your purchase. The beautiful, historic building will be open so that visitors can see the church’s Gold Rush-era interior, while various musicians provide vocal or instrumental selections to fill the nave with a melodious and inspirational air.
