Father Phil Reinheimer

Phil Reinheimer has been an associate priest at Trinity since moving to Nevada County with spouse Vicki in 2000. He is a retired social services/public guardian executive and this vocation brought him to Nevada County. He retired recently after 35 years of civil service.

His work as priest has been since his ordination in 1979, as an associate and more recently as interim priest or priest in charge, and retired from active ministry after five years at St. John’s, Marysville. He has served in several parishes or missions during his time as a priest in the Episcopal Church.

Phil & Vicki are the proud parents of three children and two elderly terrier rescue doggies, and live in Penn Valley near Lake Wildwood. Phil continues to serve as priest as needed, both at Holy Trinity and Emmanuel, Grass Valley. He is the grandson of Bartel Reinheimer, the second Episcopal bishop of Rochester, New York (where he was born).
